What’s the Smartest Way to Publish My Children’s Book Successfully?

Hi everyone, I finally finished writing my first story for kids, and now I’m wondering how to publish my children’s book the right way. There are so many options out there traditional publishing, self-publishing, or working with smaller presses and I’m not sure which path to take.
