Using financing or payment options (Klarna, Affirm) for expensive car repairs — pros and cons

Hey guys, I ran into a big repair bill recently and noticed that some shops now offer financing options like Klarna or Affirm. I’ve never used those before — usually just pay upfront. Has anyone tried these for auto repairs? Are they actually helpful, or do they just end up costing more in the long run?
