Can simple games actually reduce stress better than modern apps?

After a really long day at work, I usually try to unwind by scrolling through my phone or watching a quick TV show. But a few days ago, I ended up playing cards with some friends instead, and I was shocked at how relaxing it felt. There was no pressure, no screens, just laughter and light competition. I noticed my mood improved much faster than when I usually sit alone with my phone. It made me think: maybe these older games actually work better for stress relief than a lot of modern digital entertainment. Have you ever felt the same way?
