Dubai?

I’ve been working as a software engineer for a European fintech company for the past five years, always remotely. At some point I realized there was no real reason to stay in my small hometown, so I started looking into relocation options. After a short trip to Dubai earlier this year, I knew it was the right place for me: strong expat community, fast internet, and countless opportunities to network.

Ended up buying a one-bedroom in Business Bay with a nice view of the canal.

The process was much smoother than I expected, and now I’m fully settled. Daily life here is very convenient, and I don’t feel like I gave up anything by leaving Europe — quite the opposite, actually. For anyone in tech working remotely, Dubai makes a lot of sense.
