BriansClub: A Major Dark Web Marketplace for Stolen Credit Card Data

BriansClub was a notorious dark web marketplace specializing in the sale of stolen credit card data. Operating since 2015, it provided a platform for cybercriminals to trade compromised financial information, including credit card numbers, CVVs, and expiration dates, often acquired through data breaches and phishing attacks. At its peak, the marketplace contained millions of stolen card records, facilitating identity theft and fraudulent transactions. Despite a major data breach in 2019, which exposed millions of stolen cards, BriansClub continued operating until its eventual shutdown in 2020, underscoring the persistent risks of online fraud.
